Terms of Service

1. Who we are

2. The service

Popino lets you create AI characters (from a description or a photo), and generate videos where your character replaces the person in a source video (a trend from our library or a clip you upload), keeping its movements and timing. Results are generated by AI models and may contain errors or artifacts; we don't guarantee a specific result.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You sign in with your email address. Keep access to your inbox secure: anyone who can read your login emails can access your account.
• One person per account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Credits, plans and payments

• Generations are paid with credits, bought through plans (monthly subscription) or packs (one-time). Prices and credit costs are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Prices may include or add applicable taxes depending on your location.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
• We may change prices for future periods; we'll tell you before a change applies to your subscription.

5. Your content

• You keep ownership of what you upload (photos, videos, descriptions) and, to the extent permitted by law, of the characters and videos you generate. You can use your generated videos for personal and commercial purposes, including posting and monetizing them on social platforms.
• You give us a limited license to store, process and transmit your content only to provide the service (for example, to send it to the AI models that generate your videos). We don't use your photos or videos to train AI models and we don't sell them.
• You confirm that you have all the rights and permissions needed for what you upload, in particular the consent of any real person shown in a photo or video you use.
• AI outputs can resemble existing content or people by chance; you're responsible for how you use and publish your results.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy: no use of real people without consent, no public figures, no minors, no sexual content, no harassment, no deception. We may refuse generations, remove content and suspend or close accounts that break it.

7. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to run Popino (hosting, database, AI models, email, payments). Their availability can affect ours. See our Privacy Policy for the list.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Popino available but can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Generation times vary. We may change, add or remove features (including trends in the library) at any time.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or for how you or others use generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or generated, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using Popino and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing help@popino.io. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused credits are lost when an account is closed for a violation.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use the service means you accept them.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us: most issues are solved quickly by email.
